A list of potential cabinet members to be taken in by gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko should he become governor has taken the internet by storm.
Nairobi Senator and gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko has completely rubbished the list that has been doing rounds on social media of alleged individuals he is lining up for jobs if elected the next Nairobi governor.
Sonko made it clear on social media that he has made no list whatsoever of anyone he intends to work with as governor.
Through his official social media handles, Sonko termed the fake list as an “Lazy Imagination by corrupt cartels”.
The list purported that the Senator was lining up the likes of Caroline Mutoko, former Nairobi Senatorial aspirant Kavemba Mutinda, former Kamkunji MP Simon Mbugua among others.
While distancing himself from the list, Sonko said he was fully committed to an all-inclusive county government.
"The architects of the same seem to completely lack creativity and an understanding of the people, of the challenges they are facing, I urge all my supporters in Nairobi to treat this as propaganda," Sonko said.
This is not the first time Sonko is crying foul over alleged sabotage in his quest to govern Nairobi. Only a day ago, he was on a live radio station where he alleged that his rivals were hiring thugs to dress up in Jubilee branded shirts and harass women and children in his name.
