Tottenham can go a long way towards relieving the pressure on manager Andre Villas-Boas by winning at fragile Fulham.

Spurs bounced back from their mauling at Manchester City with an improved performance against Manchester United on Sunday and should have gained maximum points instead of drawing 2-2.

The big positive was that a midfield of Sandro, Paulinho and Mousa Dembele caused problems for the Premier League champions and they should dominate the Cottagers, who are not up to scratch at the moment.

This could be one of those defining matches when all clicks into place or falls horribly apart and the suspicion is Tottenham are not as troubled as many seem to think.

They are 8/11 to win with Paddy Power and Roberto Soldado is 7/5 with Bwin to score at some stage and 9/2 with Ladbrokes, William Hill, Sky Bet, Bet365, Paddy Power and Stan James to be on target.

Southampton are 8/11 with Bet Victor to beat Aston Villa when they visit the south coast and Chelsea are 7/5 with Ladbrokes to win at Sunderland by more than one goal.

Cricket: Sir Ian Botham has told online bookies Unibet the second Test between England and Australia, which starts tonight, will be a draw, although he still reckons the tourists will win the series and retain the Ashes.

But we are more positive at Tipster Towers and and reckon Alastair Cook’s men will bounce back at 27/10 with Boylesports. Ian Bell will be the top England batsman at a widespread 9/2.
