Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner has bizarrely tipped himself for a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The Danish striker is all-but certain to be shown the door by the Gunners in the new year after making little impact in the few chances he’s been afforded this season as Olivier Giroud’s only recognised back-up.
Bendtner had agreed to join Crystal Palace in the summer, but Arsene Wenger pulled the plug on the deal after failing to land a replacement, while previous exit paths have fallen through due to the 25-year-old’s wage demands.
However, the confident Dane has seemingly set his sights high for his next club.
Asked if he chased the money when trying to find a new club, Bendtner told Danish publication Politiken: ‘I do not. It is the sport that is the most important.
‘I’m going somewhere where I know I can be happy to play. With a team where I can score goals and preferably to win something.
