Almeria v Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo returns to club action for Real Madrid after his hat-trick took Portugal to the World Cup in midweek.

The forward scored all four goals over two legs as his country beat Sweden 4-2 on aggregate in the European play-off.

"I really like seeing him play because at the moment he is incredible and he is playing extraordinary football," said manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Real go into the day six points behind Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table.

And Ancelotti told the club's TV station: "In recent matches we have shown that the team has tried to be more balanced on the pitch and we have played better.

"The future will be better because the squad is good, the players are motivated, and the fans are behind us, which puts pressure on the team and motivates them."

Forward Gareth Bale should be fit after coming through 90 minutes for Wales against Finland last weekend.
