President Uhuru Kenyatta has been barred to perform at least six functions in his capacity as President, by the Constitution.

There is a heated debate across the country about what Kenyatta can or cannot do and has finally found the answers and simplified them.

5. He cannot nominate or appoint any other public officer whom the Constitution or legislation requires the President to do so.

4. President Kenyatta is barred from nominating or appointing or dismissing Cabinet Secretaries and other State or Public officers.

3. At this moment, he cannot also nominate or appoint or sack a high commissioner, ambassador, or diplomatic or consular representative.

1. He has no authority to confer honours in the name of the people and the Republic of Kenya.
