CJ Maraga leads Moi Girls in prayers following fire tragedy

Just a day after leading five other Judges of the Supreme Court in annulling President Uhuru Kenyatta’s election win and ordering a new poll within 60 days, Chief Justice (CJ) David Maraga on Saturday, September 2 attended Church service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nairobi.

In the landmark ruling that changed the political situation in the country as well as making Kenya the first African Nation to invalidate election win of a sitting President, the CJ – adevoted SDA member – joined hundreds of worshippers on the Sabbath day.

To the CJ, this was a Saturday like others in which he goes to Church, and nobody seemed bothered by his presencein the Church.

After the church service, CJ Maraga, in company of his wife, paid a visit to Moi Girls High School students following a dawn fire that left seven dead and scores nursing injuries.
